When I first got to Hiroshima, I wasn’t a big fan. It felt like it wasn’t as developed as Tokyo or Osaka, and the pace of life seemed pretty slow. But after spending more time in Japan and visiting other cities, I started to realize that Hiroshima is actually a great place.

My hometown is in the northeasternmost part of China, called Heilongjiang. In my impression, there are rarely severe natural disasters in my hometown. So, the first time I experienced an earthquake was after I came to Japan.
