Hiroshima area has many cities and touristic spots that are worth visiting. As a university student I am very lucky to own the "Discount Card for Cultural Facilities in Hiroshima", which has saved me thousands of yen in 1+ year. Today I visited the History and Folklore Museum and Miyajima Public Aquarium for free! Miyajima is known for many places starting from the Itsukushima Jinja and the floating torii. And on my 7th time I still had new places such as the museum and aquarium, that I havent visited before. I usually show the island to my foreign friends and make a traditional temple round and visit Mt. MISEN with the ropeway. So this time going for a tea ceremony in the morning, I made sure to see new places in the afternoon.
I enjoy using the card in various places, to my suprise I could find places in Onomichi, Ikuchijima or Kure ect to visit with the card. As a student its a great way to save money and get to enjoy more of the local arts, foods ect.
