ひろしま留学大使のセリンです。呉に住み始めて今年から3年目になりますので、今回は呉の海上自衛隊第一技術学校について紹介したいと思います。呉港(呉駅の後ろにあります)からフェリーに乗って、江田島港から10分ぐらいのバスで海上自衛隊第一技術学校まで行けます。観光しに行ったときは、人は結構多かったから、江田島港から行くのが楽でした。海上自衛隊第一技術学校に着いたら、入口で登録しなければなりません(自衛隊じゃけん)。1.5時間ぐらいのツアーしかありませんが、そのツアーの中に自由見学も入っています。レストランもあるから、ここで海軍カレーのお昼ご飯(や他の美味しいもの)も食べれますよ。

I’m Serene, a member of the Hiroshima Study Abroad Ambassador group. As a resident of Kure, I’d like to share some information on a hidden gem of this city, the 1st Service School of the Japan Marine Self Defense Force. It’s accessible by ferry and bus from Kure Station. Take a ferry from Kure Port to Etajima, then a bus from Etajima Port to JMSDF School. When I went there, the buses were timed properly so the transit time was considerably short. Here, you will have to register for a free tour which will last for 1.5 hours. The person in charge will take you around in a group and explain everything to you (in Japanese). There’s a restaurant there too, if you plan to have your lunch before or after attending the tour.
