縮景園
広島駅による東部に位置する歴史長く、見事な庭園。園の名称は中心部にありながら、各地の山、谷、池、景勝を縮めたことを表すと言われる。園内には、茶屋のような休憩所もあり、美味しい飲み物だけではなく、お得な値段でお茶会や着物着付けお試しもできるらしいので、特別な庭園撮影を体験したい方にも是非おすすめ。
毎秋、夜中に風景を照らし、紅葉の美しさをたたえる、イルミネーションも開催。今年の「紅葉祭り」は１１月２３日から１２月２日まで行われるので、皆さんも機会があれば是非行ってみてください。イルミネーションの点灯時間は１７時３０分～２１時まで。

Shukkei-en is a beautiful garden located to the east of Hiroshima station. The name means "shrink-scenery garden", as the garden is located in the heart of Hiroshima city, but tries to create many small elements of valleys, mountains and lakes into the scenery to make it seem as big as possible. They also have a small tea house that offers tea ceremony and even kimono wearing to take pictures in the garden at a small price.
Every year in celebration of Autumn, the garden sets up a series of lights, or as the Japanese like to call it, illumination, to highlight the beauty of the momiji, reflected at night. This illumination this year is from November 23 - December 2, so if you have a chance you should definitely go and see it! The garden begins the illumination at 17:30 and remains open until 21:00.

Access: Streetcar to Shukkei-en station or easy walk from Hiroshima station.
You can also access from the 1st floor of the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum and receive a discounted ticket.
