Use the air conditioner/ heater in your room
Let sunlight in during the day
You want to capture as much of that free heat as possible, open up those curtains.
Keep curtains closed at night
Keep rooms toasty warm by closing doors
Wear warm house clothes and shoes
Utilize space heaters
From personal experience they are warmer than the air conditioner. These can also be also utilised in places that lack heaters such as the kitchen.
