In this post I will continue speaking about anime series or movies that happen in Hiroshima or were inspired in some of its cities. Let’s start!
D.C.～Da Capo～ (D.C～ダ・カーポ～)
Two television series (2003-2004). It is a story of romance and a magic sakura tree. I did not like very much this anime, but it happens in Onomichi, a city that particularly I enjoy to visit. 😊
“Shrine of the Morning Mist” (朝霧の巫女)
television series (2002). Tells the story of a miko (Shinto shrine priestess) and her friends while fighting against dark spirits. It happens in the real-life city of Miyoshi.
“Fafner in the Azure” (蒼穹のファフナー)
two television series, one OVA, and one movie (2004-2015). The story focuses on young pilots of robots who fight against also giant aliens (yes, this is very anime 😊). The fictional city where this story happens is based on two real cities of Hiroshima: Fukuyama and Onomichi.
“In this Corner of the World” (この世界の片隅に)
Movie (2016). I already mentioned this movie in POST 4. It is based on the manga of the same name and written by Kouno Fumiyo, a Hiroshima manga artist. The movie describes the struggles of a young woman named Suzu during the wartime. There are two cities used for this film: Hiroshima and Kure.
“A Letter to Momo” (ももへの手紙)
Movie (2012). The story centers on a small girl who moves to one of the islands in the Seto Inland Sea. She has to deal with several youkai that only she is able to see.
Well, this is the end of the second post on this topic. I have many other titles worthy of mention, but as I do not want you to get bored, I decided to pick only these five. Maybe and only maybe, I will write more about this topic.

En esta publicación voy a continuar hablando sobre series o películas de anime que ocurren en la prefectura de Hiroshima o que fueron inspiradas en alguna de sus ciudades.
D.C.～Da Capo～ (D.C～ダ・カーポ～)
Consiste en dos series televisivas (2003-2004) y trata de una historia de romance y un árbol de sakura mágico. Personalmente, no puedo recomendar este anime pues no me gusto.
“La Miko de la Bruma Matutina” (朝霧の巫女, “Asagiri no Miko”)
Serie televisiva (2002) que cuenta la historia de una miko (sacerdotiza shintoísta) y de sus amigas en su lucha contra espíritus oscuros. La historia ocurre en la ciudad de Miyoshi.
“Fafner in the Azure” (蒼穹のファフナー, “Soukyuu no Fafner”)
Consiste en dos series de televisión, un OVA y una película (2004-2015). La historia se enfoca en jóvenes pilotos de robots que se enfrentan a alienígenas gigantes (si, una historia bastante típica del anime 😊). La ciudad ficticia en que ocurre la historia se basa en dos ciudades reales de Hiroshima: Fukuyama y Onomichi.
“En esta Esquina del Mundo” (この世界の片隅に, “Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni”)
Movie (2016). En POST 4 ya había mencionado esta película, basada en el manda del mismo nombre creado por la mangaka Kouno Fumiyo, nacida en Hiroshima. La película narra las luchas de una joven mujer llamada Suzu durante los años de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Hay dos ciudades que aparecen en este filme: Hiroshima y Kure.
“Carta a Momo” (ももへの手紙, “Mono e no Tegami”)
Película (2012). Es la historia de una niña que se muda a una de las islas del mar interior de Seto. Todo se complica cuando ella se ve involucrada con varios youkai (especie de duendes japoneses) que solo ella es capaz de ver.
Bien, este es el fin de la segunda publicación sobre este tema. Tengo muchos otros animes dignos de ser mencionados, pero como no es mi intención aburrirlos, decidí elegir solo estos cinco. Quizás y solo quizás, voy a escribir más sobre este tema.
