It can be a useful post for those who are going to be in Hiroshima University for the first time. Since, most of the departments are in Higashihiroshima Campus, a lot of students are here. One can access to Hiroshima University (HU) through the following ways:
*From JR Saijo Station
You will get bus to Hiroshima University from right in front of the Saijo Station. Bus fare from Saijo Station to HU is 290¥
*From JR Hachihonmatsu Station
You will get bus to Hiroshima University from right in front of the Hachihonmatsu Station. Bus fare from Hachihonmatsu Station to HU is 340¥
*From the Hiroshima International Airport
i) You can request pickup service from the following website. Cost 1000¥

ii) Also, you can take taxi. But cost is higher.
iii) You can take the bus to reach JR Shiraichi Station. After taking JR tain from Shiraichi, please get off in Saijo Station.
*From Hiroshima City:
i) From Hiroshima JR Station, you can take JR train to Saijo Station. Cost: 580¥
ii) From Hiroshima Bus Center, you can take bus direct to Hiroshima University. Cost: 870¥
