Last month we went to Saijo in Higashi Hiroshima city.
Saijo is famous for the sake brewery. We visited the four most famous sake factory.
Each of them has the specialty in making different flavor and tastes of sake.
One thing is certain, is necessary to have clean water to process it, and I think here they’ve found it.
In one of them called Kamotsuru, I saw one of the research about the cleanness of the water by frozen them before analyze the shape of crystals.
Saijo is full of the Japanese-like building.
The design of the wall from the bulding is ‘’namako wall’’ .
It is the same name for the sea cucumber but we couldn’t find any relationship between them.
In the International Plaza I could wear Yukata for the first time. After that we had our meeting session. Listening the opinion of different countries is to view a world with different point of view.
It was very fruitful to understand different cultures too.

Saijo é uma cidade famosa pela produção de sake.
Pudemos visitar 4 das maiores fábricas de sake.
Cada um com seu diferentes tipos e gostos.
A água de Saijo parece ser bem limpa e fresca.
Foi possível até ver a população local se abastecendo com esta água na rua.
Como Saijo fica bem distante da cidade de Hiroshima, ela não foi afetada pela bomba.
Conservando assim os antigos prédios japoneses. Numa delas foi possível observar um design de um muro chamado ‘’namako’’.
A tradução para o namako é ‘’pepino do mar’’, mas não conseguimos associar com isso.
Tivemos a nossa reunião no International Plaza e foi muito interessante ouvir a opinião de diferentes culturais em relação ao mesmo assunto. Gostaria de agradecer a todos os membros da equipe.
